SpeakApp in English
Some of this site is written in English, and most of it is not. Rather than let you find that out one click too late, here is exactly what exists — and what doesn’t.
SpeakApp dictates anywhere in Windows and reads your AI’s answers back to you while you keep working. Windows 10 and 11 only.

| The page | The question it answers |
|---|---|
| Is dictation faster than typing? | Every tool here quotes a multiplier and none of them cites a study. Here are the two that exist — and they disagree. |
| Listening vs reading | 46 studies, 4,687 people: no reliable comprehension gap. With one exception worth knowing before you stop reading. |
| Spokenly vs SpeakApp | They give dictation away, offline and unlimited. What is left to compare, and where does each one stop? |
| Wispr Flow vs SpeakApp | Both dictate on Windows. Which half of the trip does each one actually cover — and where does each stop? |
| Windows voice typing isn’t working | The built-in dictation opens and writes nothing. Which of Microsoft’s three conditions failed? |
| ChatGPT dictation not working | The microphone button in ChatGPT does nothing. Which layer is broken — the button, the browser, or Windows? |
| Voice control for AI agents on Windows | Talking to an agent is solved. What about the way back — hearing the answer while you keep working? |
| Wispr Flow alternatives | Which platforms does each tool really run on, and which need does each one answer? |
| What dictation apps cost | Four ways this category charges you — and which one leaves you paying for nothing. |
| Download SpeakApp for Windows | Windows 10 and 11. What you get, and what the free plan includes. |
What is only in French
The legal documents. The terms, the privacy policy, the cookie policy, the sub-processor list and the legal notice are the commitments of a French company, and they exist in French only. Every link to them says so, right in its label — you will never click one expecting English.
Everything else you need is here in English : what SpeakApp does, what it costs, the questions people ask, and the download. The navigation and the footer follow the language of the page you are on.
The prices you see in English are the same prices, read from the same place as the French page — not a copy that can drift. Checkout itself runs on the French pricing page, and the payment screen follows your browser language.
If you only read one
Start with voice control for AI agents. Dictating into an assistant is a solved problem and half a dozen tools do it well. Hearing the answer come back — while you carry on with something else, and while several sessions are still thinking — is the half that this category leaves to your eyes, and it is why SpeakApp exists.
