Wispr Flow alternatives
They all turn speech into text, and they all do it well. Picking between them on accuracy is picking between numbers each vendor measured themselves. What actually separates them is what you need around the dictation — and that is what this page sorts by.
Every platform below is quoted from the vendor’s own front page, opened on 12 September 2026. That matters more than it sounds : this category was Mac-first for long enough that “it’s Mac-only” is still repeated about tools that now ship Windows builds.

The question that actually decides
Ask what happens after your words land. If you are dictating into a document, nothing — any of these will do, and you should pick on price and feel. If you are dictating into an AI, something does happen next : it answers, and you have to read it. That is the half this category mostly leaves to your eyes.
It is the reason SpeakApp is on this list at all. Dictation is the part everyone solved; having the answer read back to you while you keep working, and seeing which session is still thinking, is the part we built.
Where we lose
Offline. Spokenly advertises free local models and offline use on its front page; Superwhisper runs models on your machine too. SpeakApp’s dictation sends audio to a service, so it needs a connection. If working on a plane or an air-gapped machine is your case, those are the two to look at, and this page would be dishonest if it buried that under a feature table.
Platforms. SpeakApp is Windows only. Several tools above run on Mac, Linux and iPhone as well.

No accuracy ranking is published here — every figure of that kind in this category comes from a benchmark its own vendor designed.
